Chun Gymnastics’ Gymfest is all about showcasing our gymnasts’ physical abilities through performances surrounding an annual theme. Around 500 gymnasts, aged between 5 and 16, from 12 schools participate in the event and it is held at the University Sports Hall, tal-Qroqq.

The theme for Chun Gymnastics’ 2019 Gymfest was “Colours”. During this year, the highlight of the event was the artistic performances assembled for the World Gymnaestrada 2019. The performances involved the use of gym apparatus, a combination of gym dances, acrobatic and gymnastics skills.

Stephen Spiteri, parliamentary assistant Ministry of Education, Employment, and the Family, was also present. He commended the Chun Gymnastics on the event and its efforts to promote sports to children during his address. He emphasized the importance of sports becoming a way of life for the Maltese people, and he thanked all of the parents in attendance for their passion and effort in instilling a healthy lifestyle in their children.
